La fille Aux Cheveux de Lin (the Girl with the Flaxen Hair) by Claude Debussy

I have tried to be as faithful as possible to the original in arranging this lush impressionistic piano work for woodwind trio. Flute with Low B foot is recommended.

Woodwind Octet (2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 horns, 2 bassoons)

Aria: The Queen of the Night, from the Magic Flute, by W.A. Mozart

I arranged this for a dramatic presentation of the Magic Flute while at University, as it was one of the few numbers not arranged by arrangers in Mozart's time. (Maybe because of the famous high F which is in the first oboe part???) The woodwind octet or harmonie ensemble produces a very rich timbre and full sound quality which very suitable for this work.
